The Irish Mule
Updated: Mar 23, 2022
A twist on the classic Moscow Mule cocktail that is perfect for your St. Patrick's Day celebrations.
The Irish Mule is similar to the traditional Moscow Mule; the difference being you use an Irish whiskey in place of the usual vodka. Mules are a great cocktail choice because they are refreshing, tart, and a bit spicy all at the same time! The Irish Mule is very easy to make and uses only three main ingredients.

Ingredients
Irish Whiskey
Lime Juice
Fresh Lime to Garnish (optional)
Tools and Accessories (Optional)
Copper Mug and Straw
Stirring Stick/Bar Spoon
Cocktail Jigger
Let’s Get Started
The first step is to fill your cup with ice. The traditional cup used for mules is the copper mug, but it is definitely not necessary to enjoy this tasty drink.
Over your ice, add in 2oz of your Irish whiskey of choice. Then, squeeze in the juice of half a lime. Top if off with Original Windmill Ginger Brew and give it a stir. Garnish with lime.
If you really want to make your drink stand out, sprinkle edible gold leaf flakes on top. This creates the perfect little pot of gold for any St. Patrick's Day gathering!
Enjoy!
Whether you're in need of a festive St. Patrick's Day cocktail or you are just looking for a more unique drink recipe, the Irish Mule is a refreshing and flavorful option.
